WELCOME: Western Signs from Cowboy Brand Furniture

This morning I posted a WELCOME to H&M Valley Ranch Store… This afternoon I want to post another WELCOME ~ this one is a shout out to Cowboy Brand Furniture.

In a tiny town called Hotchkiss, Colorado, in the North Fork Valley on Colorado’s Western Slope, there is a cowboy and cowgirl whose Wild West dreams have led them to a living on love, horses, and Western quotes like this one from John Wayne: “Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway!”

The Western quotes unfold on antiqued signs and furniture that they sell through their business, Cowboy Brand Furniture. This wedded pair bought the company a couple of years ago from mutual friends and they are loving working on their own, taking off lunch to rope cattle or ride in the arena that’s just three feet from their workshop.

Inspired by Western movies, magazines, and their cowboy friends, Cowboy Brand Furniture is always working on new signs and new sayings. They can also do custom work to fit with your own Ranch, rodeo, favorite movie, a watering hole, or maybe for your kiddo’s room!! The process for creating Cowboy Brand Furniture signs begins with a plain piece of pine wood. A design is then created on the computer ~~ printed onto a transparency ~~ burnt on a screen ~~ then applied to the wood. Next comes paint, a “stressing” process, and a final dip into antiquing stain. The result is a sign that looks like it has been hanging in a saloon since the days of Gus & Captain Call. Nothing leaves the ranch unless it is aged to perfection…

In addition to signs there is also a growing line of furniture which includes the puzzle rocker {BELOW}. It is a six-piece assembly that kiddos can take apart and put back together for a little brain teaser. A toy gun is the key in back that holds it all together. Fun and bright, the rocker is rock solid and super safe for your little ones.
