Tennessee Log Cabins
It feels so good to be back into the swing of things. The holidays were great, but the TREE is down and the BALL has dropped ~ time for a fresh start and the exciting journey of a New Year!!
Our New Year began with BIG ADVENTURES in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the “Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains”. We took a family trip {me, the Hubby & the 3 boys}, driving 13.5 hours to this extraordinary part of the country. I did relatively little shopping in the teeming tourist towns, instead we spent most of our time driving through the Smoky Mountains, navigating the misty roads, soaking in the beauty, and also taking in the LOG CABINS that abound.
There are so many LOG CABINS, RUSTIC HOMESTEADS &
CONVERTED CHALETS that the traditional homes look out of their element. Rental cabins are an enormous source of revenue with honeymooners and families alike {over 9 million per year} sneaking to this Alpine-esque retreat for a dose of fun & relaxation. {BELOW is a mountain near our cabin that is literally lined with Log Cabins.}
I thought today we would take a SNEAK PEEK into some of the Rustic Real Estate in Gatlinburg… a little eye candy to get you motivated to TACKLE 2009!!
