Round Top ANTIQUE WEEK {Fall 10}: Marburger Farm’s JUDY HILL
SOFT INDUSTRIAL was the mantra for our time at Round Top Antique Week… the mixture of clean lines, sturdy metal, rusty accents and neutral linens. My traveling partner, Claudia, and I studied each booth for fresh ideas and goodies that we should take home. Because we both have stores and businesses we compared notes on what works for us, what doesn’t, and what we should be looking for when transitioning our ever-changing styles. SOFT INDUSTRIAL was the answer and the queen bee of this style is the dear Judy Hill.

Based in Texas, Judy Hill is simply brilliant when it comes to merchandising, and mixing textures and styles, that juxtapose perfectly. She attends several shows throughout Texas every year and also hosts a home show twice yearly. I’m dying to get to one of these home shows sometime!! The next one will be in a month or so and all about the Holidays!! To see pics from Judy’s last home show go HERE.

Judy used this old boat as a centerpiece holding accessories and also snacks and beverages… great idea for summer soirees!!
