Every Thursday morning I have the opportunity to call into the Junk in My Trunk Radio Show hosted by Darren & John, AKA, the Junk Mafia. We talk about how to turn JUNK ~ or would be TRASH ~ into something that can be Reused * Recycled * Re-Loved
Fresh back from our trip to Round Top Antique Week my head is swirling with ideas for re-purposing ~ it’s true that antiquing {i.e. anteeking, junking, “going vintage”} is a great way to be GREEN and reduce our carbon footprint ~ one piece of junk at a time.
Today’s idea is about Rulers, YARDSTICKS & Tape Measures. Walk through any junk shop on any corner on Main Street, USA and you can find some sort of MEASUREMENT TOOL. The ideas for reusing these relics are endless… here are a few ideas to get you going.
I found these two projects while we were in Texas ~ simple, cute, sweet, fun. If you’re the ambitious sort you could even try making one of the signs yourself ~ could be a fun project to do with your kiddos, especially for a teachers gift!!
