My favorite Christmas cookies are Springerle(sugar cookies) which both of my grandmothers made. They both also put sprinkles on top of them and made them into different shapes to bake. I still make them using my one grandmothers recipe for my family every Christmas. I would love to win this giveaway as all of the children, grownups included, like to eat gingerbread men and houses. This would make a great gift as well.

My favorite Christmas cookie is candy-cane shaped peppermint cookies – they always remind me of going to grandma’s house as a kid and sharing the holidays with all my aunts, uncles and cousins! =)

My Favorite Christmas Cookies are prezel’s, it is an italian pastry that my mother in law makes during the Christmas holiday! I just had a little girl two months ago and she would love this book. I read to her now at night even though she has no idea what I am reading. She just smiles at me and it makes the world feel absolutely perfect!
Happy Holidays!

Red and green Chocolate chip cookies! Just use your standard chocolate chip cookie recipe and add a littel red or green food coloring and you have a christmas treat! I used to overdo the food coloring so they came out brightly colored. I cant wait to make these with my little girl!

I LOVE the Gingerbread Cowboy, and so do the two small children to whom I’ve given it (probably will end up being more than two!). I particularly love the javelinas chasing him! ROFL! great story with great pictures. My favorite Christmas cookies are rosettes; they are a Norwegian cookie with a simple (and rather runny) batter, then you take a “rosette iron” (which now have multiple designs, but my favorite is the original flower) and dip it into the batter to cover the design piece at the end, then dip it into hot oil until it’s done. Then you place them briefly on paper towels, then dip them in powdered sugar or sugar and cinnamon. They were always made at Christmastime by both my Norwegian grandmothers! (And you can find them in stores around this time in North Dakota, my home state!). They’re a lot of work, and I guess with the hot oil, a little fatty, but they are so delicious!
Again — LOVE the book, and love reading it out loud to my g-niece!
